Postcard

An early postcard, possibly from the 1920s, showing the theatre's highly decorative facade. Note the original arcades forming the main entrance portal to the front-of-house. These classical arches were a trademark of George Bond's buildings and bear striking resemblanec to those at the nearby Chatham Town Hall, another of Bond's building achievements and still in use as The Brook Theatre and Arts Centre.
